Music is by far the most important part of any event. It does not matter if we have the best lighting system or the newest equipment out on the market, if people do not enjoy the music they won’t stay. We specialize in school dances and stay very current with the newest trends in music with so we always have the hottest music to play. To ensure that we have ALL the music that you want to hear, we provide a music request form and can guarantee to have every song you request if submitted in writing at least one week in advance.

Since we deejay so many school functions we know which songs are appropriate for different age levels and which are not. We will never play any unedited music for any school function. We always respect and comply with each school’s administration guidelines. The sound system that is required for school functions held in gyms is very different than what most deejays provide. Most discount deejays will only use a sound system that is designed for a small to medium sized room. This small system is usually two medium sized speakers and a mid-sized amplifier, which is great for weddings and private parties, but when you have over 250 people at your function you want the music loud enough to be heard by everyone.

The major factors that require a larger system to be used for school functions are the size of the room and the amount of people in the room. The gym is sometimes 3 to 4 times bigger than your average banquet hall and more importantly the ceiling is much taller, which absorbs a lot of the sound. With the right promotion, your school dance can have hundreds of attendees and with that amount of bodies absorbing the sound and making additional noises, you need a professional sound system designed for a larger venue. When you use an appropriately sized sound system at your school dance, everyone will hear the difference, and not be bothered by the ear-piecing loud noise you get when the smaller speakers are maxed out. The success of the dance can be greatly improved by the use of our included sound activated lighting system, or upgrade to DMX (Computer controlled Lighting) lighting that will really impress everyone at the dance and add a very unique effect. Our light shows include: colored dance lights, strobe lights, special effects dance lighting, computer controlled lights, and fog machines. All of which are housed on 14 feet of trussing, which will be sure to keep the crowd dancing for hours.

A very popular upgrade that many schools choose is our huge video projection system. By far one of the top video displays and shows in the state of Arizona! Don’t settle for a small video screen when you want a professional show that everyone at your school will be able to see. We have a 10 ft by 10 ft screen that can extend vertically 20 feet. This screen can be front or rear projected so no matter what your needs are we have them covered.

On this system we can project the classic and hottest music videos to add fun and energy to every event. Also available is our wireless live video projection so you can see yourself and all of your friends up on our screen dancing. This is great for projecting homecoming events for everyone to see or the crowning of your prom court. Another feature is our video montage where we can project a power point slide show for your dances or pep rallies.

The amount of interaction we provide depends greatly on the school. Typically, for elementary and middle schools, we are very outgoing and interactive by providing games and contests for the students. We highly recommend that the school provide ten to fifteen door prizes for this approach, which serve as the student’s incentive to participate. In contrast, at most high school events, we are there to provide an awesome sound and lighting system, and play the music the students want to dance to! In most cases, high school students are not interested in games and contests, but we are happy to provide this approach upon request.
